Haiti earthquake

A devastating earthquake of 7.0 magnitude rocked Port-au-Prince just before 5 p.m. EST on January 12, 2010. Aftershocks, many above 5.0 magnitude, caused even more damage in the minutes and hours following the strike. The people of Haiti need help, and an international effort is underway to assist the people of Port-au-Prince.
